Enjoy a Full Moon on Lady Bird Lake
Join us for a truly unique, natural experience for a paddle out on Lady Bird Lake! This is a great way to spend quality time relaxing on the water with family, friends or treat your date to a romantic paddle under the Strawberry Full Moon.
The Strawberry Moon was universal to every Algonquin tribe. However, in Europe they called it the Rose Moon. Because the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries comes each year during the month of June . . . so the full Moon that occurs during that month was christened for the strawberry!
We’ll launch at dusk and then capture Austin’s magic at night. You can choose between a single kayak or tandem kayak to explore Lady Bird Lake by moon light. Spots fill up quickly so make sure to reserve your kayak in advance!
